Yogi Botanicals International Development Foundations wants to contribute to the cultural development by focusing on investing in children and youth, and assisting them in becoming active in deciding their own futures. We do this mainly through supporting education, good health, employment programs and sustainable environment. Yogi Botanicals International Development Foundation is about empowering individuals, communities, and the institutions serving them.
YBI Volunteer Program
Volunteering is a great way to contribute to empowering individuals, communities, and the institutions serving them. Being a volunteer, you can locally contribute to the organization and at the same time you receive a unique understanding - about yourself as well as about the structure and workings of an organization in a developing country. In many ways you get to practice and learn new tasks, new language, a whole new culture, and with all this experience it is no surprise that your future employees will be interested to see this on your resumé (curriculum vitae).
YBI also hopes that you will remember the social reality and to continue to act for YBI Projects even after you have returned home: by keeping in touch, trying to influence political and economical decisions affecting the poorer communities or just generally promoting a positive attitude. Depending on your interests, skills and the needs of the organizations, we will find you a suitable volunteer placement.
The registration fee that you pay will be spent on YBI welfare programs. All organizations, associations and institutions are encouraged to apply for funding for small and medium sized projects, which ideally become self-sustainable, involving an element of cooperation between two or several small organizations co-funded by the applying organization.
Environmental Conscience
We are constantly in a process of finding new ways to have as globally little negative impact on the environment as possible. We encourage people to minimize the uses of electricity and pesticides. We always welcome new suggestions of how we can act as environmentally friendly as possible.
